In Istanbul again. I’m delighted to be back in one of the greatest cities on earth to launch “Paladyum”, a beautiful Turkish edition of my Istanbul thriller “Palladium”. The official launch is at 18.00 on 20 October at D&R Kanyon. All welcome! If you’d like a book to sign, there will be plenty available. Or if you have a book already I’ll be happy to sign that, too!
It’s great to be back in Istanbul
It’s good to be back in Istanbul for some promotional events around “Paladyum“. Subtitled “Istanbul’u Kalbeindeki Sır“, or “the secret at the heart of Istanbul”, “Paladyum” is the new Turkish edition of my book Palladium, released in English back in 2022.
I have a series of promotional events planned for the coming days, including a TV interview. Do let me or my brilliant publisher Muharrem Kaşitoğlu of Feniks Kitap know if you’d like to squeeze in an event. I look forward to seeing some dear friends. The public centrepiece is the launch of “Paladyum” at the D&R bookshop in Kanyon in Istanbul at 18.00 on 20 October. This event is open to the public (in Turkish: etkinlik halka acık). The open invitation looks like this:

Invitation to the launch – do come!
If you’re here and you’d like to meet up, or get a book signed, do come along. And bring a friend: the more, the merrier. Wonderful to be back in Istanbul again – I miss the place. I’m just hoping the rain will stop soon! It was dripping on my head on an escalator at Gayreteppe as I began to ascend from the metro train from the airport this morning.

In case you haven’t seen it, “Paladyum” looks like this:

The Turkish edition looks like this
You can read more about “Paladyum“, including more about the plot and some wonderful quotes about the book from top Turkish thriller writer Ahmet Ümit, in my earlier post.
Indeed, Ahmet kindly did a video endorsement of “Paladyum” recently. In Turkish, of course.
What to do next
Come along to the launch party at D&R in Kanyon at 18.00 on 20 October. It’s going to be fun!
